Staying safe with CareerHiKe
CareerHiKe helps you prepare for interviews. It does not recruit, place candidates, or contact employers for you — so anyone using our name to offer you a job is not us.
What we will never ask you for
- Your password. Not by email, not by phone, not in the app.
- A one-time code (OTP). Anyone asking for one is trying to enter your account.
- Payment outside Google Play. All CareerHiKe billing goes through your Play account.
- Bank details, card numbers, UPI IDs or cryptocurrency.
Your account
Use a password you use nowhere else — CareerHiKe requires at least twelve characters. Your account signs in on one device at a time, and you are alerted when a new device signs in. If you get that alert and it was not you, change your password immediately.
One-time codes
A one-time code proves you are you. Sharing one hands over your account. We will never ask for it, and no genuine support person ever needs it.
Recognising genuine CareerHiKe messages
- Our only app is CareerHiKe on Google Play, by Conversantix
Anything on another domain, however similar it looks, is not us. Check the address before you type anything into a page.
Job-offer fraud
CareerHiKe does not send job offers. If an “offer” arrives claiming to come from us, it is fraudulent — whatever logo it carries.
Warning signs, wherever an offer comes from:
- Money requested for registration, training, equipment or a security deposit
- An offer made with no interview
- Pressure to decide immediately
- A request for bank details before any paperwork
- Contact only through a personal messaging account
No legitimate employer charges you to be hired.
Payments and subscriptions
CareerHiKe Premium is sold only through Google Play. We never take card details directly, and there is no other way to pay us. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Play account — anyone offering a “CareerHiKe refund” in exchange for payment details is not us.
Your resume
What you upload stays private to your account — CareerHiKe has no feed, no profiles and no way for another user to see it. Be more careful elsewhere: resumes carry your address, phone number and history, and job boards are a common source of material for impersonation.
Fake support
We only reply from support@careerhikeai.com. We will not call you, will not ask you to install remote-access software, and will not ask you to read out a code.
If you think your account is compromised
- Change your password immediately.
- Sign in on your own device — this signs other devices out.
- Email support@careerhikeai.com and tell us what happened.
- If you shared payment details, contact your bank.
Reporting
Seen something using our name? Email support@careerhikeai.com with as much detail as you can — a screenshot, the sender’s address, the link. It helps us warn others.
What we can and cannot do
We can secure your CareerHiKe account and act on reports about our name being misused. We cannot recover money sent to a fraudster, act on your behalf with another company, or verify that an employer is genuine. No system is perfectly secure; the guidance here reduces risk rather than removing it.
